The MicroPulse Directional Controller is the heart of the MWD system, integrating the directional sensor, telemetry control, and power system into a single rugged module. It interfaces with the pulser and optional downhole sensors to create a complete MWD solution, delivering reliable MWD performance and the directional accuracy operators trust.
MicroPulse provides accurate real-time inclination, azimuth, and toolface measurements using high-precision MEMS accelerometers and magnetometers delivering industry leading survey accuracy. The MicroPulse also measure and telemeters downhole shock, vibration, temperature, and stick-slip to deliver valuable drilling dynamics measurements. Every MicroPulse sensor meets the ISCWSA Standard Error Model limits. (Revision 4)
